The Beauty of the Internet

I love the internet. I think we all can relate to the internet in one way or another. For example, we like to have fun and communicate with others. We are constantly gaining more and more knowledge and experience every year. We're always trying to stay informative, resourceful, and to be there to help people. But it isn't all good however... I think we have all been known to have well, a few dirty secrets.

Exploring the world wide web, just as I explore that world away from the computer, I have discovered so many different interesting sites worth visiting. And since we all love creating lists so much, I created my own list with just a few of my favorite websites.

Greg Rutter's Definitive List of The 99 Things You Should Have Already Experienced On The Internet

List of many of the most popular virals and fads to hit the internet.

Awkward Family Photos

And you thought your family photos were embarrassing.

How Many People Are In Space Right Now?

Why not?

dornob - design ideas daily

I also used to watch HGTV and episodes of This Old House on PBS. Shocking!

FreeRice

Simple, for every answer you get right, the UN World Food Program donates 10 grains of rice.

GraphJam

Reminds me of the Marshall charts from HIMYM. Funny stuff.

InterfaceLIFT

Just an awesome site for desktop wallpaper backgrounds.

Lifehacker

I’ve gotten so many crazy ideas from this website.

Mix That Drink

I’m an artist and a social drinker. This website is the best of both worlds. Ask me about my “Crazy-J “ sometime.

Oddee

Because everyone loves lists of randomness. I do, obviously.

passive aggressive notes.com

Painfully polite and hilarious notes spotted around the world.

PostSecret

People anonymously mail in their personal secrets to this website.

Safety Graphic Fun

This is a blog of actual safety signs photographed around the world. Sounds boring I know, but it's actaully pretty interesting.

Stuff Unemployed People Like

Having gone through unemployment (rather FUN-employment!) myself, I’m couldn’t agree more with much of this blog.

Ugliest Tattoos

I understand it’s a personal choice, but just one more reason I’ll never get a tattoo.

xkcd

The best webcomic ever!

South Park Studios

Watch every episode of South Park created, plus extras.

Virtual NES

Ah, the nostalgia of playing the original Nintendo Entertainment System. If you’re like me, you probably seriously regret ever getting rid of it. This is the next best thing, a site where you can legally play NES games online.

City Data and Forum

I found this site extremely helpful for visiting new cities with the United States.

FindaLink.net

Just a web directory listing some rather helpful webpages and information.

StumbleUpon

And if those weren’t enough, I check out user recommended sites here.

Can you boil bacon?

You know, I'm not really sure if you can boil bacon or not. I've never tried it. And even if you could, would you really want to? Besides, I love bacon just the way it is.

Anyways, I just wanted to create a blog (other than Facebook), and it needed a title; a title that's interesting, exciting, and just maybe a little bit dangerous. Just what could this title be however?

And then I smelled bacon...
